A rainy Monday, what better time to go thrifting!
[inline:1]
It started when I met my thrifting partner for the day, (Don) at 79th and 2nd ave. Both being hungry and knowing that hunting through those racks takes a lot of work, we stopped at a diner on 86th. An hour later with a stomach full of coffee, half of the mexican omlette that I ordered (hot avocado=not as good as I thought)and a bit of Don's "Greek" Salad.(Carrots and mushrooms?) I was on my way to 88th st to uncover some one of a kind pieces...

There's always a feeling I get whenever I walk into a thriftstore. It's the same feeling as when I walk into a healthfood store, I feel completely at home. This time was no exception. My vintage radar was on and within 2 minutes I had spotted my first find.
Since my objective for the day was men's clothing, I headed upstairs to look around. Almost immediately I found a brown blazer, with brown velevet lapels.

The rest of my time there followed suit. I found alot of great pieces! They'll be up this week. Stay tuned! It was definetly a good day! Great company and great finds! What else do you need?
Till next time!
